Can you fly from the lift?

Every ski area on the Freizeitticket, checked for a paragliding launch at the top station.

How it's decided. A ski area counts as launch at the lift when a paragliding launch sits within 1 km of one of its lift top stations. Nearby means a launch within 3 km of the lifts that no lift on the ticket reaches.

Sources. Ski areas from freizeitticket.at. Launches checked against the DHV Geländedatenbank (export of 10 Oct 2026) and Paragliding Earth. DHV's terms don't allow republishing its data, so DHV launches are linked rather than shown. Launch details on the map are from Paragliding Earth under CC BY-SA 3.0. DHV's Austria data is incomplete, so no launch listed means neither database has one, not that flying is banned. Check winter lift hours, local rules and landing fields with the local club or flight school before you fly.
